YFU is a non-profit organization. Thanks to the efforts of numerous volunteers, administrative costs can be kept very low.

We are convinced of our goal: to contribute to a better understanding between cultures through internationals exchanges in a considerable way. By no means should an interested person have to refrain from the participation in our program simply due to finanical reasons.

In such cases, YFU is able to grant scholarships from its scholarship fund, which is funded by donations and part of the program fee (approximately 5%). In most cases, partial scholarships are awarded.

Transparancy is important to us! Therefore, the YFU annual report (including the annual financial statement) can be ordered from our office in Prague. In case we have to refuse a scholarship application, a payment in installments can be arranged. Together we will find a solution!

Good to know:

• An exchange year costs less than expected
  For example, the program fee for a high school exchange year in the USA amounts to only CZK 600.- per day.

• The investment is worth it
  According to surveys, the following skills are expected of teenagers in the future: ability to life-long learning, command of several languages, flexibility with regard to new situations and cultures.
