The workshop program included three thematic discussion blocks, where each participant could choose from five different topics. These covered areas such as host family support, outbound marketing, content planning, the “work smarter, not harder” approach, workplace well-being, student support, and many more.
This format allowed participants to focus on key areas relevant to their work, share best practices and processes, and gain inspiration through new approaches and strategies. Thanks to the wide range of topics, participants not only deepened their knowledge but also shared information and practical experience with colleagues from different countries. This enabled them to learn from one another, exchange know-how, and discover innovative methods that they can later apply within their own organization or in future projects.
In addition to the discussion blocks, there was plenty of time for networking, which helped strengthen relationships between the organizations. The program also included a trip to the nearby city of Odense, offering cultural experiences and allowing participants to get to know Denmark a little better.
Another part of the program was a visit to a local high school, providing an inspiring insight into the educational methods and approaches used in the Danish school system. Participants learned about practical examples of student support and the integration of innovative teaching methods, giving them a glimpse into how Denmark fosters skill development and supports young people.
This experience enriched participants with new ideas they can use to improve their own programs aimed at students and volunteers and further encouraged the exchange of experiences between organizations.
Overall, the workshop not only strengthened international cooperation but also provided participating organizations with valuable insights and proven practices for further development. The meeting generated new ideas for enhancing student and volunteer support programs and laid the foundation for future successful projects.
