We are beyoned happy that there are number of families in the Czech Republic who are interested in accepting foreign students. The Czech Republic is an attractive destination not only for student from Europe (Germany, Estonia etc.) but also from remote Asia, the U.S. or South America. Each student will bring a different view of everyday life and thereby enrich the lives fo host families.
Hostng families are people who are want to host a student from a different country. They are eager to explore new culture and share their own. Your host family will welcome you as another member of the family, so you will get the unique opportunity to experience culture up-close. Host families come in all shapes and sizes, so you may have many siblings, older or younger, or no siblings at all! You should be prepared to fully become a part of the family, including following their rules, helping around the house, and sharing big moments of your life with them.
Host families are going through a selection process so we can guarantee a safe home for the students. Firstly the family apply for a program of hosting a student. The our inbound coordinator Zuzana Zahradníčková interview the family and visits the house of the family. Students is guaranteed a bed and a table with a chair. It can happen that you will share a room with a sibling - only the same gender!
Host families are all across the country. You can end up in Prague or a small village nex to Brno. Since school attandance is mandatory, we place our students to families with good acces to near school institution.
