Visit from Canada

On Thursday, October 2, we welcomed Jocelyn Roy from our partner organization PAC (Canada), which focuses on hosting students in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. Jocelyn personally introduced us to their unique hosting program – students there attend French-speaking schools while being able to choose whether they want to live with a French- or English-speaking host family. This way, they experience a true “2-in-1” exchange – an adventure that is both linguistically and culturally enriching!

Visit from Mexico

A few weeks later, on October 20, we were visited by Claudie from the YFU Mexico office – the current head of the organization, who came to share her experiences and ideas for future cooperation. She was joined by her long-time friend and former YFU student who once went on an exchange program to Finland and later completed a YFU internship in Spain. It was in Spain where these two inspiring women first met – both working as YFU interns and volunteers at the time.
