Luisa is an Exchange student from Germany to the Czech Republic. How's her first impressions so far?

On 16. September, YFU CZ organised a trip for inbound students, host families and contact persons to Beroun. In Beroun, we visited a glass factory, a brewery and had lunch together, enjoying the Czech cousine and talking about the plans for the future.

Julia is an exchanges students from the USA, spending her year abroad in the Czech Republic. She's enjoying life with her host family, school activities and even learning Czech! Read her story, which she has originally published in September on her personal blog.

Karla from Mexico decided to step out of her comfort zone and embark on a year long journey - exchange year in the Czech Republic. It is definitely not easy, as Karla confirms, but it is worth fighting for. It happens rather often, that host countries become "second homes' for many students. Mira, from Germany, is no exception. She came to the Czech Republic in summer of 2015 and is enjoying her exchange to the fullest. Every year, YFU Czech Republic prepares Mid Year Orientation (MYO) for inbound students as a skiing camp. Even those students, who have no experience with skiing at all enjoy the camp which is filled with skiing sessions on slopes, workshops and free time activities!
