Pokud si budete chtít zpestřit neděli ještě před naším setkáním, můžete zavítat na Africké trhy v Trojhalí Karolina, které proběhnou 25. 10. 2026 od 9:00 do 16:00 hodin.
Čeká vás pestrá nabídka čerstvého exotického ovoce z Ugandy, Indonésie a Tanzánie, například manga, ananasy, marakuji, dračí ovoce, rambutany, mangosteeny nebo největší ovoce světa - jackfruit. Ochutnat můžete také čerstvý kokos, sušené ovoce, africké čokolády, kávu, čaje, džemy či další speciality.
Kromě gastronomických zážitků zde najdete i africké módní doplňky, rukodělné výrobky a můžete podpořit místní komunity drobných farmářů v Africe.
Doporučujeme návštěvu dopoledne nebo krátce po obědě, a poté se přesunout na naši společnou procházku Ostravou ve 14:00.

We warmly invite all exchange students, host families, and volunteers to join our gathering in Moravia. Join us for a walk through Poruba as we explore its public art and discover the stories behind the sculptures that have helped shape the character of the district for decades. It will be a great opportunity to meet new people, share experiences, and enjoy time together. Students can catch up with friends from across the Czech Republic, make new connections, and create more unforgettable memories from their exchange year. The program may still be adjusted depending on the weather. If conditions are unfavorable, we will choose a suitable alternative so that we can still enjoy the afternoon together. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Meeting point: at the Birth of the City sculpture in Poruba (49.8241864 N, 18.1842464 E)
