There used to be an event called International Brunch and this picnic is a new version of it, with the same goal and idea. To get to know other people from YFU, have fun and learn a bit more about other cultures, be it through the food from different countries or some of our IB students joining us.

We will meet at the YFU office (Fastrova 24, 2 minute walk from tram station "Drinopol") at 10 am and if the weather allows it, we'll go together to Ladronka, which is in walking distance from the office. It's also possible to come later directly to Ladronka, we'll be sharing our location. (By the way there are toilets directly in the park so that's one worry less). In case the weather doesn't allow for a pleasant picnic in the park, we will stay in the office.

We ask everyone to bring food with you which we will then share among ourselves. It can be anything at all you can think of, you can bake something, bring your favourite dish from you home/host country etc. Anything you would like to share with the other participants. It would also be great if you could bring a blanket or something else to sit on as well as good mood :). You don't need to take anything else with you. YFU is going to take care of beverages as well as of the plates.

Dříve se konala akce nazvaná International Brunch a tento piknik je její novou verzí, se stejným cílem a myšlenkou. Seznámit se s ostatními lidmi z YFU, bavit se a dozvědět se trochu více o jiných kulturách, ať už skrze jídlo z různých zemí, nebo skrze některé z našich Inbound studentů, kteří se k nám připojí.

Sejdeme se v kanceláři YFU (Fastrova 24, 2 minuty chůze od tramvajové zastávky „Drinopol“) v 10 hodin ráno a pokud počasí dovolí, vydáme se společně do Ladronky, která je v pěší vzdálenosti od kanceláře. Je také možné přijít později přímo do Ladronky, budeme sdílet naši polohu. (Mimochodem, v parku jsou toalety, takže o starost méně). Pokud nebude dostatečně hezky, zůstaneme místo toho v kanceláři.

Chtěli bychom vás poprosit, abyste s sebou přinesli jídlo, které si pak mezi sebou rozdělíme. Bylo by super, kdyby to bylo něco z vaší domácí země (pro IB studenty) nebo obecně cokoliv, co máte spojené se zahraničím (ať už šlo o výměnu, dovolenou...). Tohle je vaše šance, ukázat kousek té jiné kultury. Může to být cokoliv, o co byste se chtěli podělit s ostatními účastníky. Také si prosím přineste deku nebo něco jiného, na co si sednout, a nezapomeňte doma ani dobrou náladu :). Není potřeba nic jiného. YFU se postará o nápoje a nádobí.
